Sometimes the road introduces you to people you never expected to meet. Today we met a stranger along the road and had a brief conversation. What started as a simple exchange turned into spending the entire day together exploring ideas and sharing stories. Now as we plan to head back to Kampala tonight, he has even offered us a ride in his posh car. Along the way we’ve been discussing different business ideas, opportunities, and possibilities. It’s amazing how a random meeting can turn into meaningful connections. We entered Rubirizi on a motorcycle and we are leaving in a brand new luxury car

When we set foot in Rubirizi, we had left Kampala without any formal appointments only sharing the news of our trip on Twitter.
By morning, things had already changed. Different messages had come in, and suddenly we had several appointments lined up with some of the most passionate and popular tourism enthusiasts in the area.
From there, we began the journey together moving through different sites, documenting what we could, and exchanging ideas on how best to showcase the beauty and potential of Rubirizi as a tourism destination.
