I am actually curious. If junior devs are using Claude to write code at a senior level... And senior devs are using Claude to write code at a senior level... What exactly is the difference between the two roles right now, other than a $100k gap in salary?

It's such a weird feeling being a lifelong developer in 2026. I used to feel little pressure working on side projects. I had an idea, I knew the pain points, I was confident enough in my capabilities and speed to feel comfortable about competition. Now, competition could catch up tomorrow. Competition could find out about the niche tomorrow and have something live by the weekend. Where do I go from here? Where does anyone go from here?

Building something new. Fragtrap. An esports-first crypto betting platform. Real-time odds, instant crypto payouts, and pool play built for the competitive gaming community. Not another traditional sportsbook with an esports tab bolted on. This one's built from the ground up. More soon.
