The attempted murder of high school sports by the rich and ruthless continues. Last week, Sewickley Academy won a PIAA title with recruited athletes, not from another school district but another CONTINENT. Shame on the school and the state for allowing this. 1/2 #Pirates

I got asked often a few years ago if I thought PSU should look into hiring Gerry McNamara. I always said yes…BUT…Gerry getting the top job at Syracuse has seemed inevitable for 20 years.

@WoodyBarnett Yeah, I'm with you. My first thought was, it had to be a parody. We're just in a point in time where we overvalue sports, where earning off NIL is a legit career path. Works counter to everything sports at the youth level was supposed to be teaching.

@PennStateT5 It’s 2026 why did I even think it’s not true Donnie? Parent’s behavior at games leads to lack of officials and just so many other things. PIAA has a shortage of officials at just about every sport. Crazy world we live in.

Thank you Clemson Athletic Ventures and specifically, Caleb for doing this. They focus on one athlete per season. I’m so happy that they chose Rachael. There were so many things that I wanted to say to @rachael_rose14 after the season. This allowed me to include the entire Family
