@samueljrob Anyone who knows who Luigi Datome is knew the Pistons have been called the stones. Anyone who remembers Carlos Delfino knew they were called the stones. Living in Detroit doesn’t mean you know the Pistons or have the final say on the Pistons

@samueljrob Native Detroiters that really follow the Pistons knew they’ve been called the stones. Just the casual fans in Detroit feel like it doesn’t count cuz they didn’t know…but you have to follow the team for real to know, not just have a Detroit address.

I just can't understand how anybody from Michigan is confused by this. The Stones is very much a thing and has been for a long time. They are just good again now so people are talking about them more.

@oklahowa OKC is terrible for the game. Nobody wants to watch them. If it was Lakers v Portland it would get even more views. OKC flops and accentuates contact. They are actors, straight up. Doing theatrics like no other team ever.

@EricLloyd Like I said, an outside Detroit thing. I was around for all of that. A street vendor was marketing to Y'ALL!! Nobody who actually lived in the city bought that or was walking around in those shirts, because we didn't call them that. And most of the comments I've seen from people

@ChowDownDetroit Been a Pistons fan since the bad boys era and we called them the Stones through 2000’s. Basically the going to work Pistons, but started when Chucky Atkins and Jon Barry were on the squad.
We (my friend group) were living in Ypsi and Ann Arbor and called them that all the time
