@cyothevile I don't have the capture card mod for DS/3DS so I actually don't know. I have avoided getting the mod in hopes that a more straight forward video output mod comes around

@PopPunkGameTime Btw does the capture card software work on SBC like OrangePi or RPI5? Always been curious about it.

Nintendo DS stuff Ive been thinking of. Please read. Used python to generate a test pattern that is exactly 256x192. Then opened it in Moonshell2. Will be helpful for DS video checking. Looks good. This lead me to ask community something and I sorta hinted at last year. The DS and DS lite could be utilized as a cheap way to play GBA carts. Damaged DS/DSLite are much cheaper than GBA. Go ahead and look yourself. Basically, a consolizer that is locked just to bottom screen for GBA games. Or maybe an R4 card runs some emulators only using bottom screen? The PSP/NGPC/GBA firmware currently auto-detects what video is going into it based on hsync pulses per frame, and then tells the frame buffer what to do. It could also do the same for the DS for the bottom screen. I could crop out the black border of GBA mode on DS too in order to match GBA reso. Please let me know your thoughts.

@cyothevile I would LOVE that tbh. The thing I really don't like about the capture card method is the need for a PC with proprietary middleware. That method is cumbersome and does not fit well with the rest of my set up. I prefer the straight forward approach like for my other 20 consoles

@PopPunkGameTime I want to do a DS/3DS video mod. It would function slightly similarly to the capture card method but would instead of the cable going to PC, it would go to the HDMI card itself. With 90* and 270* rotation support.
