HALF: #illini 40, Penn 30 David Mirkovic (17 points, 10 rebounds) was sensational, but Illinois shot 22 three-pointers to just 13 shots at the rim against a team that struggles to stop Ivy teams at the rim. Pretty strong defensive half, holding Penn to 0.968 ppp.

We coach Freshman-Seniors as hard as we can, and find them opportunities to play in games to develop. ▪️We're one of the few small schools in Illinois (220 enrollment) that still plays 3 games per week. Freshman, JV, and Varsity. ▪️It continues to get harder and harder each year to keep kids interested in developing, and not quitting if they aren't starting right away. ▪️However, we LOVE them and work hard to DEVELOP them on and off the field.
