The World Wrestling Federation (WWF) announces its purchase of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) from AOL Time Warner for approximately $2.5 million to $4.3 million, ending the “Monday Night Wars” and securing WWF’s monopoly on major North American professional wrestling.

@DCHard21 @dren_braves @PowerFor15 Doesn’t matter. In that situation - tying run on 3rd, bottom 9, 2 outs - the batter has to be trying to foul off anything close. You can’t take any borderline pitch. Swing the bat to drive your guy in

impossible for me to know exactly when the ball crossed the front of the plate, but the first image is my best guess. the second image is right as the ball is entering the catcher's glove which is well behind the plate. third image is the ABS placement.

I'm happy the US won, but that's no way to end a game. That final pitch was six inches low and should have put runners on the corners. Just a brutal break for the DR.
