#MLKDay represents an opportunity to think critically and honor service to our communities. Our community was offered chances to learn, reflect and support others when BSU, the CDI, athletics and SAB collaborated on Black Lives Matter Week this fall. ow.ly/tG4y50DbsSV

This year we broke with tradition. Instead of the students decorating a #gingerbread Blaney Hall with @PresidentMeade, they were given individual cookie kits for a gingerbread competition. It was different, but the entries did not disappoint! #cedarcrestcollege

I am proud to recognize the significance of the first woman of color to be elected VP of the US. This moment reinforces our mission as a women’s college to create leaders for a more equitable future. As president, I am honored to bear witness to such a historic occasion.
