This builds trust with her doctor. Ramonita's health, including her asthma, has gotten much better since she started seeing Dr. Valentin. Respectful care considers language and culture. This helps patients and families feel supported and understood.

Speaking to your doctor in your language can improve your health. Doña Ramonita Santana found this with Dr. Carlos Valentin. He speaks Spanish and shares her culture. She can easily share her feelings without translation worries. She can follow treatment safely.

Because of your support, we’re helping fund life-saving breast cancer research and care — and honoring the memory of our teammate, Karen Janes. Karen faced breast cancer with quiet strength. She always cared for patients with kindness and respect.

These are called chest retractions. It means your baby is working hard to take a breath. Parent tip: Take a short video of your baby breathing when they’re healthy. If you think they may have RSV, you can compare and see changes more easily.

RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) season is coming. This virus can make babies very sick. It's the main reason little ones under the age of one go to the hospital. The tricky part? RSV often looks like the common cold at first.

Volunteers from other Optum groups and non-clinical helpers joined us, too. We're proud of the work our team did and the lives they helped. To our team, thank you for helping patients beyond our borders. They'll always remember how you made them feel—cared for and supported.

Over the summer, ProHealth team members traveled to the Dominican Republic with One World Surgery to help those who don't have easy access to medical care. Together, our health care superheroes cared for 605 patients! They gave checkups, answered questions, and treated illnesses.
