Trump is walking on a tightrope with Congress. His 60 days are up and if he goes to Congress they will likely try to shut his military action down. His only remaining strategy is to taunt the IRGC into attacking and then respond with force. If he does launch an attack it will have to be fast, furious and overwhelming.

U.S. terms reportedly included dismantling key nuclear sites like Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, shipping out enriched uranium, and accepting long-term inspections, with only limited sanctions relief. Tehran dismissed the deal as “unrealistic.” Meanwhile, U.S. force buildup continues. Multiple Lockheed C-5M Super Galaxy and Boeing C-17 Globemaster III aircraft have arrived in the region alongside refueling tankers.
