okay to elaborate, the weird route is directly caused by the player, noelle makes this clear in her monologue about how kris is no longer kris, therfore if the player never does the route then the knight physically can't exist.
It feels like it was based more on aura than logic

My biggest problem with WR noelle kris knight fusion timeloop abomination is that it physically can't exist in a copy where the player hasn't done the weird route,
Imagie being a new player on your first playthrough and you get to the knight reveal and its like

okay so if we ignore the parts of the piggy intercity map that make literally no sense based on previously established map locations, i was right about everything ever!

i think alot of areas could have easily been actual piggy locationi think citadela should have been city hospital should have been in rida, alleys should have been shadewood,
i feel stuff like that would go along way in making it feel more like piggy

piggy intercity is awesome but it kind of hurts me how different the returning maps are and how their placements make no sense if book 1 and 2 are canon
like why is mall a jog away from alleys with no city in sight anywgere near it
