When concert entry delays on the first day pushed back the start time of the event, officials adjusted operations in real time by extending the last train schedule and deploying additional trains. All available Line 3 trains were put into service to handle the sharp increase in passengers traveling to and from the concert venue. The successful operation allowed hundreds of thousands of concertgoers to travel safely despite the unprecedented surge in ridership.
