AI in medicine is starting to feel insane in the best way. We’re seeing real movement on obesity, cancer, inflammation, and diseases that used to feel almost impossible to touch. Eli Lilly’s retatrutide, a triple agonist, is showing major potential for reducing body fat and related complications. GLP-1s are also turning out to be much more interesting than “weight loss drugs,” with anti-inflammatory effects that could matter across a lot of conditions. Then you have new therapies emerging for brutal cancers like melanoma and pancreatic cancer. This really does feel like a golden age of science. Quietly, medicine is becoming one of the most exciting AI frontiers.

The Five Eyes intelligence alliance just issued an urgent advisory warning that autonomous offensive AI attacks are imminent. Intelligence agencies from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand warn that threat actors are using custom LLMs to scan code, discover zero days, and automate exploits at machine speed. Attackers are currently demonstrating automated shell deployment capabilities in under sixty seconds, transforming coding tool connections into direct backdoors. In response, cybersecurity networks are deploying agentic shielding systems like Snyk Evo to analyze and govern what local AI coding agents do in real time. Enforcing strict write boundaries is now a critical security priority for any development workspace. Why AI Loves Em Dashes: The Real Reason ✍️🤖 There is a single punctuation mark that has quietly become the ultimate fingerprint of AI writing—the humble em-dash (—). While popular theories claim chatbots overuse em-dashes for token efficiency, the tokenomics prove otherwise. An em-dash takes the exact same number of tokens as a standard comma. Instead, the habit is baked deep into the training weights. To find high-quality text, AI labs scanned vast libraries of public domain print books from the 19th century—a punctuation universe where em-dash usage peaked at three times modern levels. As human raters rewarded this flow, it locked a 19th-century habit into Claude, Gemini, and GPT. Today, human writers are deleting dashes to prove they aren't bots, in a bizarre punctuation arms race. Chapter Timestamps - `0:00` - The Ultimate AI Fingerprint (Hook) - `0:09` - Token Rigging vs Print Corpus (Body) - `0:28` - Reclaiming Expressive Style (Verdict) why ai loves em dashes, ai writing fingerprint, chatgpt em dash habit, claude em dash density, detect ai generated text, print books training corpus, token efficiency myth, punctuation arms race, fireship tech shorts, computer science, humanizer ai writing, RLHF reward models, write like a human, 19th century punctuation, moby dick em dashes, llm writing habits #shorts #tech #programming #ai #writing #chatgpt #claude #linguistics #literature #typography #melville #fireship

Case reference: #26 0621-017827 Hi @LinkedInHelp @LinkedIn , my LinkedIn account is temporarily restricted and I’m trying to complete identity verification. The verification page says “You’ve already submitted a request,” but support keeps sending the same upload-ID instruction. I’m unable to proceed further. Could a human support specialist please review my case and help reset/confirm the verification status? I’m happy to verify through the official secure process.

OpenAI launched "Patch the Planet" to automatically write security fixes for critical open-source software like Linux and Python. Coordinating with cybersecurity experts from Trail of Bits and HackerOne, the initiative aims to rescue open-source maintainers drowning in a flood of unverified vulnerability reports. By using a specialized GPT-5.5-Cyber model and the Codex Security plugin, OpenAI Daybreak scans codebases, validates findings, and generates fully tested pull requests directly. Initial projects participating include cURL, Python, Go, and the Linux kernel. This shift represents a transition from simply finding vulnerabilities to actively deploying tested remedies, making the internet safer at machine speed.
