X MONEY FOR BUSINESS?💼 It looks like @XMoney is working on separate account features for businesses too. Could this mean we may see micro loans and lending in the future? It certainly could include features like payroll, Grok powered book keeping, and invoicing. X Money seems determined to go after everyone’s lunch.

Redcoat #1 is the first of three Ghost Machine launches I’ve read so far, all written by Geoff Johns, alongside Geigerand Rook: Exodus, and it immediately sets itself apart in tone and approach. Where the premise could easily lean into straightforward historical action, the introduction of supernatural elements reframes the conflict in a way that feels fresh. One of the most effective aspects of the issue is how the paranormal is handled. Rather than overwhelming the narrative, it’s layered in carefully, allowing the historical setting to remain grounded while still opening the door to something far stranger. Simon Pure himself is another standout. He’s not heroic in the traditional sense, nor is he particularly admirable, but that lack of moral polish makes him compelling. His selfishness, opportunism, and cowardice are played in a way that’s entertaining without undercutting the stakes. This morally grey lead helps distinguish Redcoat from more conventional war or historical comics. The inclusion of real-world historical figures also adds an intriguing texture to the story. It grounds the book in reality while making the supernatural elements feel even more unsettling by contrast. Overall, Redcoat #1 is a strong, confident opening that balances history, horror, and character work with a steady hand. As part of Ghost Machine’s early lineup, it makes a compelling case for the imprint’s ambition, and it’s left me eager to continue through the rest of the series. REDWRITER COMIC REVIEW: Redcoat #1 (2025) Redcoat #1 introduces Simon Pure, a morally flexible soldier navigating the chaos of the American Revolutionary war as history collides with the supernatural. Set against a recognisable historical backdrop, the issue blends real-world conflict with eerie, otherworldly elements, hinting at a much larger mythology waiting just beneath the surface. The supernatural elements add an interesting twist to a war setting that could otherwise feel familiar, and the inclusion of real historical figures gives the story a distinctive flavour. Simon Pure is a compelling lead, a man of questionable morals and little dignity, which makes him an expectedly fun character to follow. The paranormal side of things isn’t overdone, and leaves you asking questions. I’m very much looking forward to what comes next. Check out the full extended review below!👇
