I dunno man, I was a single-issue voter this year for the issue of "not wanting to see dead Palestinians on my phone every day." Neither candidate was going to fix that problem, so at least I have the satisfaction that one of them gets to be really fucking humiliated.

The two Senate Dems to win in Trump states so far being Baldwin (a lesbian M4A supporter and former opponent of the Iraq War) and Slotkin (a former CIA officer who ran ads with pics of her with W.) points towards Kamala’s loss being less about ideology and more about competence.

As I was leaving my polling place parking lot, a non-native English speaker asked if I could help him pull up his bank statement on his phone, as h'd just moved and needed to prove his residence. I helped him and felt much better about doing so than I did actually voting.

Endlessly annoying to me that the act of voting is portrayed as an unambiguous civic good. Some of you should stay home! I have a relative who thinks the ancient Egyptians used the Pyramids to create wi-fi, and his vote counts the same as mine.
