@ansardem @garfungle @GoodGuySedge In 2023 gasly came into a new team, and still managed to get more points. You do realize DNFs aren’t aren’t exclusively car-faults? To say he outraced Gasly in 2024 is simply wrong. Gasly had almost twice as many points finishes

Aqua narcissistically forced himself to be a tragic hero, something that went against his character development throughout the entire story. The ending was shit.

finding the father to avenge Ai IS the main plot point until aqua sees that video of Ai saying she wants them happy and wants aqua to save hikaru afterwards it become making sure ruby and everyone around his stays safe no matter what it takes, even if it's breaking Ai's wish of saving hikaru the story has NEVER been about making aqua happy, since the very beginning, everything he's been doing has been self destructive, and I notice that even more now that I'm rewatching the anime. every action he takes puts him at a new low to make sure people around him are safe.
