1% success among everyone who tries to lose weight? Or only those who were obese or some higher threshold like that? Bodybuilders (and hobbyists like me) gain and lose weight intentionally, and I think the success rates are much higher in those circles. I can believe stats that say overall success rates are super low, but it always seemed like there's a bit of tension between this and the fact that bodybuilders can do it without much trouble. I mean, they complain that it's unpleasant for sure, but they still are generally successful.

The success rate is like, 1% and I’m not even joking.

I've also realized that the goal isn't the actual maximum you can stretch, but the maximum you can stretch *and still fully inhale.* Like if you're stretching and not breathing into the muscle you may as well not stretch it at all
