The Russians are developing a “blinding” shotgun shell designed to cover the camera lens of FPV drones. A fine, colored compound with high adhesion quickly solidifies on the lens, making it opaque. Obviously, the effective range will determine if this ammunition has any success.

@SpaghettiKozak I don’t know if I still have that russian book about military history my dad bought me when I was 10 or 11. If it was translated into German it’d probably be banned in Germany because of how author glazed nazi military. Illustrations were real beautiful tho.

@SpaghettiKozak Yeah, my second language is russian. There were russian movies on Ukrainian TV, russian military encyclopaedias on shelves of bookstores and I had relatives in russia, we all watched russian bloggers and listened to their music back then, it seems surreal now.

@SpaghettiKozak They view nazi germany as strong and while allegedly hating “fascists” also somewhat worship them, like Hitler’s uniform in russian military cathedral, name of African Corps and Wagner group, portrayal of Wehrmacht in their movies, etc.

@SpaghettiKozak A lot of russians are wehraboos at least at some level. Many russian “military enthusiasts” and amateur historians even communist ones seem to glaze nazi military really hard - uniforms, military technology, etc. Not most of them but a pretty sizeable portion.
