@RealDustinM I'm not against war or even empire in principle, if it's done for the benefit of the American people. At this point, however, they'd need to make an airtight case for either of those.

Different experiences can lead to different opinions. Funny that there's little nuance online between "no war ever if its centcom" and "world police" camps.
I think iran deserved to get their shit pushed in after 40 years of their bullshit.
That doesn't mean we stick around to pick up the pieces so the team Sgt and his boy are in the same battalion in the same war.

You dont need to wear a military uniform and 30K in accessories you bought to punch holes in paper at a civilian range. Suddenly appearing in a crisis looking like a blister pack GI Joe is more likely to get you killed by responding credentialed gun carriers than a key to the city.

Interesting that there isn't anyone (that I know of) from the professional side of this talking about the depth, breadth, and speed at which foreign influence is at work in more than our digital information environment. Unacceptable, dangerous, and total and clear violation of operational security that could have gotten Americans killed. Marijuana today is much more potent than just ten or twenty years ago, leading to increased psychosis, anti-social behavior, and fatal car crashes. Arkansans don’t want more dangerous drugs obtained more easily. A change to marijuana’s drug classification is a step in the wrong direction.

Since monkeys are in the news: This is Minky My SAW Gunner bought her with a five dollar bill from a dude in “downtown” Asadabad. We made a HESCO home for her. We fed her skittles, dip, and MRE peaches. She liked to look for bugs in your arm hair. The medics (jerks) made us giver her away after like 36 hours. Some Afghan probably ate her for dinner that night. Remember Minky.
