Show is fucking phenomenal! I’ve got two episodes left and I love it so far. Not only is the story gripping but fuck even the way the show is shot is excellent. So many cool and unique shots I feel is rarely seen nowadays

Even as the biggest Spider-Man fan, I couldn't make it through #SpiderNoir. The hokey acting and Madame Web-style creative decisions (Ben's dead wife taught him that "With great power...") weren't for me. I tapped out after 1 episode, so maybe it gets better, IDK. 🤷‍♂️

@miiykei It’s so weird how stage play casting directors just disregard any input the creator gives like I know urana needs to change but it’s still weird how even though she wanted to at least get black/japanese actors for it they just said “yeah they don’t exist” which is absolute bull

now is a good time to talk about how common blackfacing/brownfacing, and appropriating clothing + hairstyles are in stage plays. every time i see posts about the handful of shows that DO cast black+brown actors it always fails to bring up how outnumbered they are by…. this
