The combination of dry and breezy conditions today will lead to an elevated risk for fire spread across much of the region this afternoon. Be cautious with any potential ignition sources or cigarette butts, and adhere to all state and local burn bans.

The fire displaced two adults and one child, and the Red Cross was called to assist them.

A team of disasters volunteers from throughout the region gathered at our Liverpool location for Kitchen Site Management training. Participants learned and shared best practices for setting up and operating a kitchen site while supporting disaster relief operations.
