SCOOP: a vulnerability in the animation app FlipaClip exposed the email, birthdate, full name, and country of 895,000 users. 22% of users in the dataset, which is non-public, are minors. Josh Ward of VisualBlasters, FlipaClip's developer, tells me that it was "fully rectified."

over the weekend, two unrelated URLfests — @ninetenfest and @violetinbound's Outbound Fest — were ran in support of Doctors Without Borders. i'm giddy to say that their combined-fest total raised for MSF is exactly $1,100.00 — a monumental success :)

one victim, and the two recovered, are male, early to mid 20s. this is the second time in the last few weeks a fatal drowning has occurred at Lighthouse.
