@ProudlyPastoral I reacted the same. It wasn’t the kids fault, this is a classic adult creates the issue then punishes the child for the situation they created.

This is really, really poor. I've not watched the series yet so don't know the context of the lad, but you've shamed him in front of the class, can see he's upset & carried on. He's responded & you've just thrown him out? No conversation, just out. Terrible.

Today marks my 20th teaching year 💪🏼. But also, it was my final day at my beloved school after 9yrs service. Moving on due to life changes- all good! Emotional 🥹. KFC needed. #edutwitter

I have hugged so many people today. Kids, parents, staff. I went to the pub with the staff after school and then cocktails and dinner with Debs and Dawn. Just got home. Shattered. But happy. I’m retired. 😀

@kateowbridge Kate it’s such a shame you are so far away from Sandwell, they school I am a governor at is one form entry CofE Primary school. Since the Vicar passed away we have no Foundation governors left. The diocese aren’t helping with finding us anyone either ☹️

I am available as a governor from September. North/mid/west Kent, top of East Sussex, east Surrey type areas. Can be co opted or foundation (CE). Get in touch. The current position became untenable.
