BREAKING: Iran confirms it has no interest in a reciprocal assassination against Trump because no weapon it could possibly build, not even nukes, could do more harm to the US than the current president. Iran actually sees Trump as a major asset 👀

So...I am not completely disagreeing that wealth concentrates upwards due to corruption, elite back-scratching, fake NGOs, etc. It generally does, especially with more rules and higher tax rates. But those graphs are typically propaganda. What was it that Reagan did that started this trend, I would like to know, and how come Democrats couldn't reverse it given multiple tries?

Congrats on your extended acid trip, although you have some serious competition from your fellows. I seem to recall that Iran released the hostages something like the day Reagan took over. I also recall that people started making so much money, the only think the left could come up with was calling it "the decade of greed". That's right, prosperity is "greed" when it actually happens under a Republican. Rapacious taxes and onerous unions aren't "greedy" at all! Inflation is great! There was the whole winning the Cold War thing, too. He was so good, he not only won reelection in a landslide, but none other that H.W. Bush managed to ride his coattails. (Spoiler, HW was no Republican - he raised taxes and coined the term "voodoo economics".) The "butcher whites" part I'm a bit lost on.

@FelonSkunk37088 @NormalIslandNws No, when he was saving the middle class from Carter's stagflation and making everyone decidedly more wealthy. I don't know the Democrat fan fic details, but that that's what happened in reality.

@Riddlescue @NormalIslandNws You mean when Reagan was chopping off middle class prosperity at the knees? But right wingers didn't care that they were getting screwed because they're all hyper emotional juveniles who liked the tough talk?

@anyonewantchips So the left not only can't figure out that their "free love" "sexual revolution" makes them hypocrites, but they don't know what a pedophile is. This explains a lot.

Trump has 5 kids with 3 women he cheated on. Elon Musk has 14 kids with 4 women he cheated on. Pete Hegseth has 7 kids with 3 women he cheated on. RFK Jr has 7 kids with 3 women he cheated on. The Republican Party protects pedophiles. Family values - my ass.

Chemical castration? Realy?! I plead for the deathpenalty! That would solve many problems: ▪️short prison time, less costs ▪️no backsliding ▪️no useless discussions about castration ▪️deterrence ▪️no costly deportations ▪️no court proceedings, no costs ▪️satisfaction for victims!!! ▪️helping victims to overcome trauma!!! ▪️society's satisfaction over unrighteousness Nations that can't protect its children and women are doomed to fall into insignificansy.

Seven men raped a 19 year old woman in Palermo and filmed it. Italy's deputy prime minister responded with a chemical castration proposal. Italy's push toward chemical castration legislation was triggered by a series of high profile sexual assaults that dominated public debate. The most prominent was a gang r*pe in Palermo, Sicily, in July 2023, in which seven men between the ages of 18 and 22 were accused of raping a 19 year old woman and filming the attack. The case provoked national outrage and renewed calls for harsher penalties for sex offenders. Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini of the far right Lega party responded by publicly calling for chemical castration, saying "if you r*pe a woman or a child, you clearly have a problem. A prison sentence is not enough." His party had long included chemical castration in its platform but lacked the public momentum to move it through parliament. A second case in October 2025, in which a teenager was gang r*ped in a Rome park, further intensified pressure on the government to act.

@Lukas14ub @ImtiazMadmood You’re missing the bigger picture, death is no punishment. Instead replace the animals used in animal testing with these vile predators and test drugs on them instead. Better results, torturous existence, animals are spared and the costs remain the same.

@ImtiazMadmood Chemical castration is inhumane and probably not reliable. The death penalty is what is appropriate in incorrigible and violent cases. Or life without parole at best.

If Trump starts an endless war, yep, that's a betrayal, intentional or not. Even a ground war. That being said, I personally think he let Ukraine twist in the wind too long. Don't get me wrong, Europe should pay for it. But it's disgusting that Russia wasn't kicked out immediately and overwhelmingly which would have been much cheaper in money and lives. Europe is craven. There's a lot there. I am surprised Iran didn't get nukes under Obama, but I think Pakistan and most other Muslim countries, which are Sunni btw, realize that is scary for them as well. There's plenty of dissatisfaction with the details. Certainly, I want to see the real deal on the DOJ corruption. Like who the hell cultivated Crooks? But who knows what evidence they were able to destroy. I want to see full reports someday but I don't think that will be easy. And prosecutors unfortunately have a lot of discretion. Like, is it illegal for Biden to plan and collaborate with bogus prosecutions? Some things are a matter of judgment. It is a very tricky needle to thread to just keep turning the tables on prior administrations. I hope that it can be done via bright lines but these things are double-edged swords. Going after businesses that hire illegals has a definite logic. For example, in California, the proper owners of the farm hire some Latino guy with a business which is simply laundering the immigration status of his "contractors". And pocketing the wage difference. Or so I am told. That guy should definitely be in prison. So yeah, Trump misses some tricks but I am not expert on that so I don't have a strong opinion. Skilled workers are another matter. It does theoretically depress earnings of people who were already here. But in theory, there should be plenty of jobs to go around in a decent economy, and we are literally stealing the most talented from these other countries which is a huge competitive advantage. I have seen that stuff first hand, and engineers from here still get paid plenty. What messed with things was the COVID bubble and who knows what AI will bring. Anyway, there are many criticisms to be made, but compared to the alternatives, it's Trump all the way. And why is it so surprising? His tax cuts his first term left a lot to be desired, for example. Hell, I want no income tax. But at least he moves in the right direction.

Well, we can agree to disagree about Iran having nukes. I, honestly, would not be surprised to find out that Iran HAS a nuclear weapon and has for years… something about them sitting in the world’s second largest oil reserves while being right next to nuclear Pakistan leads me to believe that they would be fools not to have clandestinely acquired one over the years. In any case, I’ve found the rhetoric which has come directly from Kim Jung Un and his predecessors just as directly threatening as anything the ayatollah and his minions have ever said. The “death to America” chants tend to break out after the US or our proxies end up killing a ton of civilians, which stirs up a lot of hatred within the local populace. That’s not to say that they are’t dangerous actors, but I think close monitoring and lowkey support for dissident groups within the regimes a much better long term strategy… if our end-goal is to eventually wind up with nations that we can do business with rather than be in conflict with. I don’t judge Iran to be any more dangerous as any other large, sub-superpower nation. At the end of the day: they don’t want the smoke. Having the largest and most well funded military apparatus (by a factor of at least 20) tends to act as a pretty solid deterrent to any of our other rivals… don’t see why that wouldn’t hold true for Iran as well. As for giving him credit… I dunno man… I’m really glad that the border is closed… for now. And I really like RFK at HHS (my kids not being mandated to take COVID shots was a big deal for me. So is the notion of cleaning up our toxic food supply) But if he was serious about getting rid of illegals, Trump would be targeting the businesses that employ illegal migrants. And his expanding H1B visas for Indian and Chinese people to come and take the tech jobs that Americans could be filling kinda threw me. As for the lawfare… where the fuck is the accountability? It seems to me that Trump just got into bed with the same apparatus that used to attack him. That’s why all the deep state swamp monsters we all KNOW worked to smear him and put him in prison are still walking free without a care in the world… it also explains why CNN, of all channels, is now shilling 100% approval polls for Trump. Lol But you’re right about Iran. It really is the one issue that stands out as DIRECTLY opposite of everything Trump and his entire team campaigned on. I knew it was all bad when Trump decided to keep arming Ukraine right after his inauguration… our tax dollars keep flowing overseas to drop bombs on people in countries half way across the world so the MIC and our corrupt politicians (like Lyndsey Graham) can keep getting rich. We wanted him to drain the swamp. Instead… Trump is the swamp. I guess it shouldn’t have come as all that much of a surprise. But when you’re desperate for change and decide to put your trust and faith in someone who promises to help make that change a reality… It hurts when you get told that the Epstein files are a hoax and he doesn’t even want your support if you want to keep talking about them. …and oh yeah: your kids are probably about to get drafted into that new, trillion-dollar war that I promised you I wouldn’t start.

Yeah what he said, they are always working on nukes. "Decimation" isn't permanent. If anything was a lie, it was that the program had been set back far enough before. Per my other reply, Trump probably wanted them to close the straight to teach Europe a lesson, increase the US energy advantage, weaken China, etc. It's not clear how many mines there are (Iran is also cutting off it's own exports in doing this) so it seems mostly about Europe pulling some weight to destroy the active threats.

@VanquishedWolf @Riddlescue @mrun1istd @ComicDaveSmith No. Serious harm was done to their nuclear program. Iranian negotiators told us they would never stop pursuing a bomb. Trump has talked about facing down the Iranians for decades. This time called for action in light of the threats and protestors.
