TODAY: Bill C-9 is going to a final vote in the HoC. C-9 will remove longstanding protections for religious speech through an amendment that received no witness testimony and has raised serious concerns among civil liberties groups and religious communities. I will be voting NAY.

After a year of Mark Carney, what's changed?

Bill C-243 will restore some balance back into the justice system by ensuring that parole is reviewed in accordance with the statutory time frames - not on request by killers. Families should not have to suffer the pain of parole hearings year after year.

It's a criminal act to break into someone else's home. It shouldn't be a criminal offence to defend your life, family and property. For years Liberals have prioritized the needs of criminals over justice for victims. It's time to give the power back to law-abiding Canadians.

BREAKING Mark Carney's Health Minister REFUSES to say that injecting fentanyl is unsafe. Fentanyl is the most used drug in federally approved supervised consumption sites. The Liberals' radical drug enablement agenda has no limits.

Under the Liberal gun grab, CAF members who legally own firearms could return home from serving our country — only to be treated like criminals by their own government. That should concern every Canadian. If the Liberals trust our troops with the biggest guns we have overseas, why don't they trust them with their plinksters and turkey guns at home?

“There’s no evidence that we’ve seen that any of these guns are ending up in criminals’ hands.” NB Chiefs of Police Assoc. hits the nail on the head. Liberals will waste nearly $1 billion taxpayer dollars without confiscating a single illegal firearm from an actual criminal.

I’ve been receiving calls and emails from New Brunswickers concerned about the impact Bill C-9 will have on free speech and freedom of religion in Canada. This bill has become another attempt by this Liberal government to expand their control over what Canadians can do and say.

Folks travel from all over the world for the opportunity to explore this incredible feat of nature along the Bay of Fundy shore. It's the only beach in Canada to have made Tripadvisor's list, and we’re lucky enough to have it right here in our backyard.

There are already laws in place to protect Canadians from hateful conduct and discrimination. This bill has become just another attempt by the Liberals to expand their control over what Canadians can do and say.
