38 yr old Haitian-American Vice Mayor of Coral Springs, FL Nancy Metayer Bowen was tragically murdered. Bowen was the 1st Black woman elected to her city’s commission focusing on community health and environmental equity into local governance. She was shot by her husband. This is not just a tragic loss, but the devastating reality of gendered violence, one that took a Black woman leader, a Haitian daughter of the diaspora, and public servant whose presence was deeply meaningful. @TDPatriot1 I’m telling you what America was founded. They wanted to buy up land and own people while keeping poor whites as an overseer class with no real political rights. None of the founding fathers gave a fuck about anybody, but themselves. No morality, just ownership and wealth.

@RuffMane Nope- In the context of America, Moral Capitalism = pursuing business decisions that bring about the greatest good to Americans or American society, as a whole. A comp/corp’s value was dependent on its ability to benefit society, not solely on its ability to personally profit.
