jake is always helping everyone communicate more comfortably and he’s one of the fluent english speakers in the group. he naturally steps in to translate, explain things and help conversations flow smoothly whenever needed. he once tried learning norwegian because he planned to study there before and he often tries to communicate with chinese fans in chinese first without anyone even asking him to, a lot of fans have praised him for that. besides that, he also keeps trying to speak in japanese and other languages he knows of course he can still make mistakes sometimes, that’s completely normal when those languages are not his main language. trying, learning, and occasionally mixing things up should never be something people get mocked for. what i appreciate most about jake is how genuine his efforts always feel. you can tell he truly respects his fans and wants to communicate with them no matter where they’re from and i really admire him for that🤍

jake talked about his older brother🥹 🦮: My brother’s personality is completely opposite to mine in every way. I might be different now, but back then I was distant and never talked, while my brother was the opposite and talked all the time. In a weird way it helped us to get along well. I didn’t know at the time, but he did things for me that most older siblings don’t do for their younger siblings. We always played together, played soccer every day together, and he helped me study. I never fought much with my brother, but if we did it was because I was being moody and throwing a tantrum in front of my mom, and then my brother would scold me. At the time I couldn’t figure out why he was upset for something I said to our mom, but now I get it—my brother’s a good person and was telling me not to talk to our mom that way. #JAKE #제이크
