With regards to the quoted post, i like to keep an eye on leaderboards especially for darwinex. These are the top two for gold status. They are great traders, the year has not been a great start for them either. But look at their equity curves. Phenomenal. Flat and losing periods happen. The influencers hide it by spam buying accounts and making it look like its always sunshine. Id recommend to look at the guys on the leaderboard its way more realistic. One of the main things is survival. Everyone experiences wins, majority cannot survive. The start of a drawdown/losing streak is the end of the account. This will mean youre always one streak away blowing up. Drawdowns and flat periods happen. Some people on the leaderboards had flat 4-5 month periods and still put up 20+% by year end.

Some people need to lose money so other people can make money. I know which side I’m on.
