TTP survivors face increased cardiovascular risk, but why? Cardiac MRI shows reduced stress myocardial blood flow & perfusion reserve in survivors vs controls. Endothelial dysfunction may play a role in increased CV morbidity & mortality in these patients. doi.org/10.1002/ajh.27…

Oncology is an incredibly rewarding field, but it can also be emotionally heavy. Burnout is real, especially early in your career. Having a strong support system makes all the difference. Grateful for my amazing oncology crew here in Houston—find your people, lean on them! 🤍

Are you a woman who has had TTP? Researchers are interested in your experiences with care after TTP, especially regarding pregnancy (or deciding whether you want to or should get pregnant). Please take a few minutes to share your perspective with this in this research survey.

I had been suffering from bruising, extreme tiredness, fast heart rate and shortness of breath. Reeshemah Wynn went to the emergency room with what she thought was the flu, but she was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder called aTTP. Read her story here[bit.ly/3RCGgB8]

🚨@USTMAConsortium study 💪 N=645 ✅ Acute #TTP outcomes similar by #race ⬆️ relapse Black pts despite anti-CD20 🔑 Anti-CD20 works; shorter lived effect in Black patients -> may need closer monitoring and retreatment / other IST 🤔 shorturl.at/bfhy9 @BloodJournal

If you’re living with TTP, we’d love to hear from you! Researchers are looking at TTP patients’ experiences with healthcare to understand if differences in access to care after a TTP diagnosis impact outcomes. Please consider taking this anonymous survey: redcap.link/TTPstudy

I will be having my hematology consults elective in August. Can you please suggest me important topics to read or give any other imp tips? My only rotation before I apply for a fellowship, so I really want to show my interest as a good resident interested in hemeonc.#MedTwitter
