We are really enjoying Anthony Browne books! We read Hansel and Gretel as a writing stimuli, then we found other books by the same author. Interestingly, there are lots of similar themes, characters and settings! 📚

We loved Sports Day! Well done to team Spain for coming first 🎉

We loved learning how to tell the time! We did this by making clocks out of hula hoops, using blue and red card for a minute and hour hand and putting post it notes around the clock in the 5x tables to show the minutes 🕐🕠🕔

I love seeing these concept drawings come to life! One child found a pattern she liked on a material she thought would best work, but she trialled it out on a mannequin first to make sure she liked. Top designer!

We are loving our art challenge - following a design brief for a concept drawing of a character. Lots of children are bringing their own inspiration in for their designs!

Today we met Decimal Dragon! He taught us all about how decimal points change the value of digits! We cracked the code to help him find all of his decimal points which were lost. Thank you!
