Last night a 999 call came through to our control room, a male was spotted with a handgun on a train heading to Rotherham. Armed officers intervened with the assistance of the BTP firearms team which resulted in 1 arrest and the recovery of the firearm. @SYRPC_OFFICIAL

Interesting shift tonight involving a bunch of fuel thefts which resulted in a short pursuit. After that, we were tasked with arresting a male, who pointed and discharged a firearm at unarmed officers, luckily no injuries. We pursued the male who was shot by armed officers.

What a night. We were sent to deal with calls ranging from helping @YAS_SYRPC with a collapsed patient to a man wanted by WYP for Suspicion of Murder. We also pulled a vehicle over for dangerous driving which resulted in a firearm being sighted and a pursuit followed. #SYRPC

In tonight's shift, we managed to take a violent offender into custody after a short pursuit from an acid attack that happened in the city. One of our colleagues also found himself on the receiving end of a knife and finally, we helped out our friends over in YAS with a hit & run

Tonight Armed Officers were sent to deal with a escaped convict, he was originally sentenced for firearms offenses. ARVs intercepted and stopped the vehicle and detained the occupants. We thank our counterparts in @SYRPC_OSS for their assistance this evening. #fictional #SYRPC

Tonight our @SYRPC_FSG worked with @SYRPC_RPG to deal with a serious unfolding incident with an HGV. Armed officers were able to contain the threat after several failed stinger attempts as the vehicle was heading towards residential areas. #fictional #SYRPC
