“It was beautiful”: 12-year-old Knicks superfan Carmelo Rios was in Madison Square Garden when the New York Knicks made a historic run to win Game 4 in the NBA Finals — but it wasn’t the game Carmelo and his parents, Felix and Angelisa, were initially meant to attend. Carmelo got tickets to Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals for his 12th birthday, but the Knicks ended up sweeping the Cavaliers in 4. That is when Carmelo’s namesake — Knicks legend Carmelo Anthony — stepped in, securing Game 4 Finals tickets for the family.

COOL: The last time the Orange won against Oklahoma was in the NCAA tournament during the team's 2003 title run. GMAC and Carmelo Anthony were on the team, and ironically, the game was played at Siena College. SU will face the Sooners in the ACC/SEC challenge this year🏀🍊
