Back at the Club, we open at 2:30pm for this weekends International fixtures.

This Saturday is our first pre-season fixture. Our senior squad head to Bedford Ath for a 12:45KO. If you can get across, they would appreciate the support, as players look to put a marker down for their position in the coming season.

Our Mini & Junior teams return this week with some Fun & Games Ice breaker sessions. We look forward to welcoming back our young players as well as anyone new who would like to give rugby a try.

Senior Training continues this week, Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm! We welcome all players, new and old. So if you would like to come and see what Stewarts and Lloyds RFC has to offer, join our senior squad as they take on fitness and skills sessions tonight and Thursday from 7pm.

RESULT Not the result we were looking for today. Wisbech take the spoils with a 10-3 win over the 1stXV. It’s been a great season for the #blackwave and despite not finishing how they would of liked, the lads should be proud of what they have achieved this season.

The game finished 52-24 in Spaldings favour so they take the spoils and are promoted alongside Daventry. We want to congratulate both teams on their promotion and wish them the best of luck next season. Our attentions now turn to the upcoming Cup fixtures. More on that to come.

Today was the last and only league fixture of the 2022/23 season, Huntingdon v Spalding, with promotion riding on the result. Unfortunately it was completely out of our hands and instead rested on Huntingdon, to keep Spalding from victory.

The guys have done a fantastic job running 10k everyday throughout February and it all finishes this coming Tuesday. Your support has helped to spur them along every day and they are so close to the finish line now!
