Congrats to my friend/colleague @EtheridgeRod who retires from @cbcnl today. We met in 2007 at the Cameron Inquiry. A dyed-in-the-wool journalist, Rod’s superpower is finding meaningful stories that hit the heart. He’s been a mentor to me and so many others. We’ll miss you Rod!!

Yet another family affair here at the #Niagara2022 Canada Games for Team NL. The Power family is represented here by Coach(Father!) Loyola, and players(sons!) Linden and Logan who are on the Male Softball team.
Our entire coaching staff are proud of each and everyone one of these athletes! NL Canada Games Men’s Indoor Volleyball Team with a massive 3-1 win vs Nova Scotia to book our ticket to the quarter finals (top 8 in country) vs Alberta! Match is 12:30pm NL time! Let’s go!!! 👊🏐
After 6 years, 5 spent as Co-Chair, I have tendered my resignation as a member of the City of St. John’s Youth Advisory body. We have a lot of work left to do, including ensuring that each of our elected councillors listen to the lived experiences of our City’s young people.
