Researchers tracked nearly 24,000 adolescents and found that students with disabilities who spent the majority of the day in general ed classes did far better in reading and math compared to their more isolated peers.

Collaboration and explicit teaching are high-impact teaching strategies (HITS) that support our literacy learners. Today, our middle school ELA teachers engaged in thinking and discussions around HITS to build reading identities and communities. #LearnRCS
