Harden is one of the worst, if not the absolute worst, playoff performers relative to regular season success in North American sports history over the last 50 years.
Cleveland choked last year. Bringing in a guy with Harden’s postseason resume to fix the problem was insane

I’m not sure if Kevin Durant would be willing to play his last few years in his hometown but….AD + a 2027 lottery protected first works for KD + Capela in the 2026-2027 league year when KD’s salary reduces from $54.7M to $43.9M. KD would be a much better offensive fit with Sarr compared to AD imo.
Also with the 2027 draft not projected to be as good and with already a lot of young players on rookie deals, I’d be willing to get rid of a non-lottery first to get KD and move off Davis’ albatross of a contract.
