Europe is paying for almost all of the aid to Ukraine, which means the US and Trump should get zero say in how the war ends. Trump is a bad faith negotiator. His efforts have already failed, and he has no right to dictate terms

U.S. Undersecretary of State Sarah Rogers has positioned herself as the point person for Donald Trump’s campaign to save Europe from what the White House calls “civilizational erasure.” She is just getting started. 🔗 politico.eu/article/donald…

REPORTER: "Why is the US removing troops from Germany?" PRESIDENT TRUMP: "We're going to cut way down, and we're cutting a lot further than 5,000."

It’s not only that Ukraine needs us. Much more, Europe needs Ukraine. We need to bring Ukraine into the EU and NATO, and eliminate gray areas across Europe that have too often been a green light for Russian aggression.

US troops are not in Germany to protect Germany. They’re there because the US needs bases to conduct operations beyond the North American continent. If Trump withdraws them, he will harm the United States, not Germany. It’s absurd how many Americans fail to grasp this.
