To put what 60 million really means into perspective, here’s how it compares to annual spending on several key institutions in 2025:
• Information Commissioner’s Office: 7 million
• Family Protection Authority: 10 million
• Tax Appeal Tribunal: 12 million
• Employment Tribunal: 16 million
• Judicial Service Commission: 16 million
• Labor Relations Authority: 18 million
• Disaster Management Authority: 19 million
• Civil Service Commission: 30 million
• Attorney General’s Office: 34 million
• Ministry of Agriculture: 56 million
60 million isn’t just a number, it exceeds the budgets of many of these institutions, some of which play critical roles in governance, justice, and public protection.

So the question is, are we really putting public money to the right use?

Not to boast, but for comparison, my personal reach and engagement would likely exceed that of most papers in this list. 4. Take JeeluOnline, just around 50 followers on X, with less than 100 posts, yet receiving 1.2 million. This 1.2 million is not paid for “journalism” or “PR” , it’s paid for whoever owns this money laundering front. 5. And just because the previous government did it doesn’t mean this one should continue the same practice. This isn’t about PR or news. It’s a mechanism to siphon public funds and channel them “legally” to pro-government voices. I’m sorry to say this, but your newspapers serve that same purpose, a convenient front with ai generated articles to funnel public money into your accounts. You’ve positioned yourself well as a “businessman”, always aligning with whoever wins elections and ensuring the flow of public funds in your favor in. You were/are better than that, you can do better than that. People like you should set examples to younger generation by doing better

MACLChairperson (late) Mohamed Umar Manik (MU Manik) was forced to resign from MACL board in 2024. Later that year, Ibrahim Nooradeen was removed from MACL board. Muizzu removed them so he could install puppets like @NurainJanah and recruit political appointees without any limit, build gyms etc, basically destroy MACL. MACL is becoming the new Fenaka.
