Saregama won a ‘Copyright’ case against the master of ‘Copyright’ cases.

MSV and TKR shaped the soul of film melody. That is history. They laid the road everyone walked on. But laying a road is not the same as building a cathedral. Raaja walked that road and turned it into structural symphonic architecture inside a commercial film space that was never designed for that depth. He did not compete with his predecessors. He extended them to their logical extreme. Meanwhile, many of today’s “different” composers survive on borrowed aesthetics, seasonal trends, and clever production masking shallow musical writing. Raaja did not need to look different. He made the system itself sound different. That is not branding. That is dominance.

tried raaja, gud MD, no doubt. but his tunes feel simple, flat & single layered, not much complexity or unpredictability. tats y I prefer ARR- unpredictable, complex, mind bending. from Jodhaa Akbar, PS to heavy sci fi, his range feels broader; Raja’s seems comparatively narrow
