Food Police say Avocados contain "good fat" & lard contains "bad fat" BUT Lard & Avocado contain same 6 fatty acids; both dominantly monounsaturated oleic acid (lard 45%; avocado 50%). Vit D-rich lard also contains more HDL-promoting saturated stearic acid.
