If we keep him out for a few more games, then we will have definitely conceded the ROY to Kon. That's not terrible, though. I don't like how many small injuries Cooper has been accumulating. The next real game is next season.

When Steve Ballmer bought the Los Angeles Clippers in 2014 for $2 billion, he stood to save about $1 billion in taxes over 15 years due to U.S. tax law provisions specific to sports franchise ownership. These savings primarily come from being able to depreciate (amortize) so-called “goodwill” the sum paid above the team’s hard assets, against his other taxable income.
Taxpayers were essentially robbed of 1B in cap gains and other income that Ballmer would have had to pay had he not been able to write off such things as "player contracts"
