@Author_JimGould I don’t think being good enough is the question. Traditionally, published authors aren’t better authors and self published. Vice versa is true as well. I’ve read amazing books from self published, and amazing books from traditionally published.

@C_H_Armstrong @tinecoglobal When I get back from RWA, I’ll have to talk to my husband about it. We have a rainbow which is the best vacuum cleaner we have ever bought, but it doesn’t clean the floors. Like it gets all the vacuum stuff done but I still have to have the floors mopped.

A person in my neighborhood bought my book. The problem? She is struggling to believe I actually wrote it. She believes I don't have a sufficient command of the English to have written it. What is a writer to do in this situation?

@kctorawrites I have no problem with it if it fits the character or the mood that I’m going for. I think I’m less concerned about the swearing in my books than the sex scenes. Not because of my mother but because of my uncle lol I can see his horrified face already.

I have a hard time using swear words in my writing. I wonder if it’s because I think my mom will read it 🤣🤣 How do you feel about adding swearing to your writing? #writingcommunity

@C_H_Armstrong @tinecoglobal My hubby and I have been talking about getting one of those. How easy is it to use? We’ve just been paying someone to clean our floors every two weeks lol and then just using the rainbow and swiffer in between
