New meta-analysis: even a single workout session produces moderate improvements in impulse control for adults with ADHD, with large improvements in those not on medication. Exercise as a tool for adult ADHD may be severely under-utilized: adhdevidence.org/blog/meta-anal…

🧠 Meta-analysis: people with ADHD are about twice as likely to report non-suicidal self-harm. This reflects overlapping challenges like impulsivity, emotional regulation, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Awareness and support matter. adhdevidence.org/blog/meta-anal…

New U.S. research is looking at ADHD through a broader lens: Kids growing up with financial strain, food insecurity, or unsafe neighborhoods were more likely to have ADHD diagnoses. That doesn’t mean these factors cause ADHD, but environment can shape how challenges show up and whether kids get support. Read more: adhdevidence.org/blog/us-study-…

Large Israeli cohort study: Eye disorders linked to later ADHD diagnosis. 📊 In >665k participants, prior eye conditions were associated with ~40% higher ADHD risk. What this does not mean: eye problems don’t cause ADHD, and most people with vision issues will never develop it. adhdevidence.org/blog/large-coh…
