Social Media Appeal for PAWS Pet Foundation Desperate Call for Kindness: A Home for PAWS Since 2011, PAWS Pet Foundation, Inc. a Florida recognized 501 (c)(3) has stood as a beacon of hope for animals in need across South Florida. From rescues to advocacy, our mission has always been fueled by love, community, and compassion. But today, we face a challenge that threatens our ability to continue. We have lost our donated office space. We are urgently seeking a small office (about 10x20 feet) anywhere between Fort Lauderdale and Delray Beach—a place where we can continue coordinating rescues, outreach, and community programs. Important Note for Property Owners/Managers: Under IRS rules, while the value of rent itself cannot be deducted, any out-of-pocket expenses you cover—such as utilities, insurance, or maintenance—may be deductible. We will gladly provide full documentation to support this IRS Rule. By opening your doors, you won’t just be offering four walls, you’ll be giving animals a voice, a chance, and a future. Your generosity will be recognized through social media, ensuring that your kindness shines as brightly as the lives you help save. Your room offer to PAWS is more than space, it’s sanctuary. If you or someone you know can help, please reach out. Together, we can keep PAWS alive and thriving for the animals who depend on us. Needed: Rent-free office space, Fort Lauderdale → Delray Beach Please contact: pawspetfoundation@aol.com Please share this message widely. The right person may be just one connection away. Our most sincere Thank YOU, and Happy Holidays!

True love toward all #animals and #pets has become rare as #humanity slowly forgets to practice it. Yet, even in a world that can feel so cruel, we still find rare souls who choose compassion—who fight to make a difference for animals, pets, and even other humans. To those souls, we say: Thank YOU.

This team found a beautiful puppy accidentally covered in tar, & the smile on her face while seeing rescuers is precious. Kindness may not save every being at once, but it can save one at a time. 📽️TMTRD (The Man That Rescues Dogs)

Stolen and likely sold by a dog walker in Riverdale, Bronx, NYC. Please share and keep an eye out. The poor owner is frantic. I doubt these darlings will turn up at #NYCACC but please help. Churra, Rosie, Mocha, Banksy: I hope you're home safe and soon. RT

Can anyone please explain what in god's name is happening to these dogs, why have they got their hind legs tied to a fence? Is this how they train dogs in countries that have outdated animal welfare laws?

His name was “253.” Just a number. No name, no story, no family. Only a cold tag on a chain far too heavy for him. To the world, he had become “253”a file among others, an existence forgotten behind bars. When I first saw him, he stood trembling, frail, almost transparent. His thin skin revealed every bone, every scar from a past most would rather ignore. His face told a story of suffering, fear, and rejection. Some looked away. I could not. Others passed by his cage without stopping. “He’s frightening,” some said. “He’s too old,” others whispered. No one wanted him. His fragility scared them. They preferred perfect puppies with round muzzles, bright eyes, and soft fur. He had none of that. But in his eyes, there was a glimmer of hope—tiny, almost extinguished, yet stubbornly burning on, like a candle thought to be blown out. I knelt in front of his cage. At first, he retreated, terrified. Then, after a long silence, he slowly approached, head lowered. His muzzle brushed against my fingers through the bars. Fragile, delicate, and alive. In that moment, I knew I couldn’t leave him there. He deserved a chance—not because he was “cute” or “easy to adopt,” but because he existed. Because he had suffered silently without asking for anything. Because he was not a number. When I took him home, he trembled the entire way, hardly daring to believe it was real. That first meal, that first night curled up in a blanket… every day he learned to live again to trust, to love, to play, to sleep without fear. Today, he has a name. A real one. He runs in the garden, falls asleep in the sun, and is no longer “253.” He is himself. He is alive. And yet, I feel anger. Anger that he should have ever ended up there. That so many animals like him are still waiting behind bars, judged by their scars, their missing fur, their age. They are called numbers because some refuse to grant them the dignity of a name. And yet, it is often these animals who are the bravest, the most grateful, the most loving. They have known suffering and, despite it all, still love. To those who walk past without stopping, to those who say, “He’s too ugly,” “He’s scary,” “I’d prefer a younger one”look closer. Look beyond the scars, the timid gaze, the worn coat. These are souls waiting for a second chance. Adopting a wounded animal is not an act of pity. It is an act of pure, sincere, unconditional love. It is offering a happy ending to a story that began tragically. Now, when I see him sleeping peacefully, head resting on his paws, I think of the number he once wore a number that represented loneliness, indifference, and oblivion. That number no longer exists. Here, he has a name, a place, a family. He has found what he was searching for all along: love, safety, dignity. Credit - animals daily life

She wasn’t crying for herself. I cried for him. When rescuers found her, she was sitting in the corner of a cold, empty room. Her body was trembling, her skin raw from mange and hunger, but she didn’t move an inch. She just stared silent, exhausted, protective. At her side was a tiny puppy, curled into her belly, too weak to even lift his head. She hadn’t eaten in days. She had nothing left to give, yet somehow, she was still alive. Still guarding him. Still being a mother. When one of the rescuers slowly stepped forward, she didn’t growl or run. She just looked up, eyes full of quiet desperation, as if to say, “Please… take my son first.” That single moment broke everyone in the room. They took them both that night. The puppy went into warm arms, wrapped in a blanket. The mother followed right after, too weak to stand but still watching him the whole time. For the first time in who knows how long, they slept in safety clean, fed, and loved. She had fought through hunger, pain, and fear just to give her baby one more day. That’s the thing about mothers, human or not they’ll burn themselves to keep their children warm. True love doesn’t always come with words. Sometimes, it’s just a trembling body refusing to give up, because someone smaller still needs her. ❤️

#Animalabuse #animalcruelty will only start diminishing when #criminals like the one/s, who left this #baby #dog #puppy hanging from the fence, are brought to justice, pay heavy fines and are put in prison for a couple of years! "They start with #animals and then the move into #people". Ask your #Legislator who "love all #animals #pets" to make such difference. It starts there!
