Trump replied: "Who knows better about surprises then Japan. Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor?"   Is it any wonder that Lieutenant General Ben Hodges who was the commanding general of the United States Army in Europe, said the following:  “This is embarrassing for me as an American to hear any American president showing such disdain for any ally, and we are going to regret in the long run as ... nations lose confidence in us, lose trust in us and start finding other ways to look after their strategic interests.”

Since the end of 2021, Russia has invested at least $4 billion in Iran's defense sector, receiving hundreds of ballistic missiles, 500 other short-range missiles, and 200 surface-to-air missiles.  Iran also supplied Russia with Shahed-136 suicide drones and transferred the necessary technologies, enabling Russia to establish its own production.   The Iran attacks against its Persian Gulf neighbors was predictable.  Russia benefitting from higher oil prices to fund more attacks in Ukraine was predictable.  Trump started this mess and doesn’t care.   Remember in November, #VoteBlue.
