Training hard with your teammates is one of the best ways to increase team cohesion. Blood, sweat, and tears create strong bonds!

Two steps to developing a growth mindset: 1. Believe that you can improve with practice. 2. Prioritize effort and improvement over outcomes.

Teaching is one of the highest callings one can have. So let’s make sure teacher pay sends that message.

Mentally tough athletes figure out a way to win. No matter the challenge, they improvise, adapt, and overcome!

What is your identity as a player? Are you a competitor who won’t give up? Anybody who watches you play, even for one minute, should say, “Man, that kid competes!” Competing is a prerequisite for good things to follow, but more importantly, it’s essential for your team’s success!

A team is only as good as its leadership. With great leadership, a team can reach its potential and achieve great success. With poor leadership, a team can fall apart and fail miserably.

Any athlete can reach peak performance for a moment or two. Only the mentally strongest athletes can maintain peak performance for an extended period of time.

The value of competing in sport is not in winning, losing, earning a scholarship or getting to play in college or professionally. The value of sport is in the development of discipline, grit, facing adversity, habits and a growth mindset. Use the game; don’t let the game use you!
