Myself and members of my administration joined the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Saad Abubakar at the Sultan Bello mosque for the Eid-el-Kabir prayer today.

I was at Benin again this afternoon to reinvigorate my colleague, Governor Godwin Obaseki, campaign.

Earlier in the day at Ilorin, I condoled the people and good people of Kwara state over the loss of my colleague's father, late Alhaji Abdulganiyu Folorunsho Abdulrazaq (SAN, OFR).

I was at Modaci village with my Deputy, Alhaji Mannir Muhammad Dan Iya and members of my cabinet to condole the family of a state legislator, Hon. Habibu Halilu Modaci, who lost his father yesterday at Modaci village in Isa local government area.

I cautioned our state indigenes in the Eastern flank to be vigilant in their respective areas as this will boost the efforts of the government in further tackling the recurring insecurity challenges in the area.
