Surrey deserves better! For too long, the province has neglected our city, leaving us with crumbling healthcare and inadequate services. It’s time for change—demand action now! #SurreyMatters #BCpoli

The NDP keeps standing in the way of the projects that power our economy. Instead of getting our resources to market and creating jobs, they delay, block and drive investment away. British Columbia should be leading, not falling behind. 👉 Get involved: WinForBC.ca

British Columbia’s credit rating just got downgraded. That means you’ll pay more and get less. As interest payments rise, more of our tax dollars will go to banks instead of healthcare, schools, and services. That’s the NDP’s legacy. Join us to fix it: WinForBC.ca

I fully support this demand. However the NDP seem to be going a different direction with transparency… @BCConservCaucus

I have previously posted this tiny sample from 2017 of tens of thousands of patients who wait dangerously long times for access to care. Why don’t @Conservative_BC and the media demand the release of current data? Patients are dying in vast numbers and our NDP government knows it but hides information from the public.

This Province is in real trouble. Massive debt no end of deficits, private sector jobs bleeding and expanding public sector. On tops of that the youth are fleeing to try to find a future. @BCConservCaucus

🚨 New ICBA poll: 68% of British Columbians oppose the Cowichan decision -- including 56% of NDP voters. Eby's own supporters are rejecting his approach. That's not a fringe concern, that's a five-alarm warning. Full results → icba.ca/bc-blog/britis…

It’s hard to know where to start with Eby’s post… ❌ He accuses Conservatives of misinformation, while claiming “BC’s economy is growing exponentially.”  ✅ In fact, according to the Business Council, BC’s economic growth is “well below” its long term average & GDP per capita has SHRUNK for the past 2 years.  ❌ He then goes on to say that the resource development that IS occurring would “terminate in its tracks” without agreements with First Nations.  ✅ Yes, because HE implemented DRIPA & signed veto agreements that mean resource development *can’t happen* without consent. Those same veto provisions are driving investment AWAY. ❌ Finally, Eby has got to stop threatening his own citizens with “immeasurable chaos” if his unworkable land-back policies are disrupted. His “follow my radical agenda OR ELSE” approach should worry all BCers. ✅ It’s time to put the public interest first, ensure decisions over public land & resources are made by governments citizens can actually vote for, and ensure order & good governance are maintained on the land so the economy can thrive. ➡️ Last but not least, watching Eby berate others for “misinformation” on the Musqueam Agreement… after he claimed he knew nothing about it & was later found to have *attended the actual signing ceremony*‼️… is just the icing on the cake. It’s time to elect a strong Conservative leader who can win so we can put a stop to this madness. ✍️ Sign if you agree: winforbc.ca/landclaims

BC’s economy is growing exponentially, and that would not be possible without First Nations coming to the table with us. I’m appalled to see the level of misinformation being spread by the Conservatives. Our success lies in the work we do together.

And no, @BCNDPCaucus is not responsible for the toxic bills those 2 other MLAs are introducing. But by failing to protect the #bcleg from bad actors abusing the system, weaponizing the issue, and then coming on here and lying about what they are doing... they might as well be.

Canadians were told there were 215 graves. The country lowered the national flag for months. Churches were burned. International headlines declared the discovery of mass graves at a former residential school. The federal government responded by allocating $12.1 million in taxpayer funding specifically to support investigation and exhumation work to verify those claims. Now we learn that no remains have been exhumed. At the same time, the Department of Crown-Indigenous Relations has released the activity reports tied to that funding, but every meaningful detail has been redacted. The reports describing what work was carried out, what investigations were conducted, and how public money was spent have been blacked out and labelled confidential. That is unacceptable. When the federal government spends millions of your taxpayer dollars to investigate a claim that shook the entire country, Canadians have a right to transparency. They have a right to know what work was performed, what evidence was found, and how their money was used. This is not about denying history. It is not about attacking Indigenous communities. It is about basic public accountability. If the government funded an investigation, the public deserves to see the results of that investigation. Let me be clear : The records should be released in full. The spending should be explained clearly. Canadians deserve the truth about what was done with their money. And if that money was not spent for the purpose it was granted for, then the public deserves accountability, including repayment of those funds. #cdnpoli #bcpoli

Feds censor as "confidential" files on what Kamloops First Nation did with $12.1 million in funding to recover alleged Indian Residential School graves. @Tkemlups acknowledged Feb 18 it never exhumed remains. “The community received funding for field work.” — Carolane Gratton @GCIndigenous blacklocks.ca/alleged-graves… @OIC_CI_Canada

The NDP limits who can work on many public construction projects because they prefer a system that picks winners and losers. That isn’t fair to British Columbians waiting for hospitals, schools, and roads, especially in a climate of labour shortages, cost overruns, and delayed projects. Cost overruns on capital projects have grown to more than $17 billion and projects are a combined 158 years behind schedule under the NDP government. That’s why I’ve introduced a bill, the Public Sector Construction Projects Procurement Act, to restore open, fair tendering on public infrastructure. Contracts should be awarded based on merit, safety, qualifications, experience, price, and the ability to deliver results. That’s common sense if we want to build projects faster and deliver better value for taxpayers.
