In a large cohort of patients with anti-IgLON5 disease, Grüter et al. reveal early inflammatory CSF changes, and association of HLA-DRB1*10:01 with higher autoantibody titre, consistent with a primary autoimmune nature of the disease. bit.ly/3kqYn1B

What happened to #neurological #autoantibody detection rates around the pandemic? We compared 2019 Vs 2020, across the 5 commonest cell surface Abs, and only saw a fall in LGI1 rates. The drop was marked around March-June - the time of the UK lockdown. jamanetwork.com/journals/jaman…
