This is an evil thing to say. Being forced to amputate my breasts in order to save my life when I wanted nothing more than to breastfeed my newborn son was traumatic. I am not over it. I am going to continue to talk about it for the sake of myself and for those who can relate.

@XAndersonSteve I was 47, my PSA doubled in one year to 1.83. I had a Gleason score of 7, intermediate aggressive. Yours seems normal for your age, but I'd verify with a urologist if you are concerned.

@TheHand77 Hand,about that prostate cancer.Did it present quickly/slowly.I'm 63 and although the normal "range" for psa bloodwork is 0-4ng. I have seen a change from last 10 years of .33 to the last two tests(6months apart) rising to .5, and now 1.0. My Dr. is not worried yet. I'm concerned
